Had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed a narrated tram tour of the rainforest and checked out the beautiful Flamingo Gardens. Our room was cozy, and the staff was friendly. It was fun to relax by the onsite pool after exploring the area. Just be ready for a bit of a wait during dining, as staff can be a tad slow at times.
We did have some delays in service during dinner, with our bill taking longer than expected. It was frustrating, especially after a long day of activities.

The fresh salads were a highlight during our stay, offering a nice dining option. However, the first-floor room lacked a balcony and basic amenities like a refrigerator and clean linens. The outdated mattress and mold around the complex were disappointing, and late-night pool noise disrupted our rest. It's surprising so many guests opted to stay off-site for better conditions.

The grounds at the Bonaventure Resort are beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The suite was spacious and clean, though it lacked kitchen essentials. Enjoyed the amazing pool, but be prepared for higher prices at the on-site restaurants.

The staff here are absolutely top-notch and they make you feel at home right from the moment you check-in. I was really impressed when the manager personally welcomed us and even went over all the amenities with us!
It came at a price, not exactly cheap, but well worth it.

missingWrote a review on Sept 23nice pool areahelpful staffspacious roompoor housekeepinginconsistent servicebad wifi
I really enjoyed my recent stay at Bonaventure Resort and Spa. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the front desk was genuinely kind and helpful. I got a newly renovated room in Building 9, which was a major improvement over what I saw in the older building. The room was spacious, equipped with a kitchenette, and the linens were clean and fresh. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a nice spot to relax. However, there were several disappointments too. The Wi-Fi in my conference room was poor. they mentioned too many users on the network. Plus, ordering room service was frustrating. They delivered food in plastic containers, which felt a bit tacky for a resort. The gym had no towels, and housekeeping was hit or miss — one day they’d clean well, and the next they wouldn’t show up at all. I noticed some noise from other guests that made it hard to relax at times. Overall, the facility has a lot of potential, but it definitely needs some upgrades and better management to fulfill that potential.

Some areas of the resort showed signs of age.

I returned to Bonaventure after several years and had a solid experience. The staff greeted me warmly, making me feel right at home. I loved the pool area. it was pristine and inviting. The restaurant, Ireland's, surpassed my expectations with its outstanding meals. The spa was spacious, offering a variety of treatments. However, my king suite needed some attention. The air conditioning struggled a bit, leaving some areas warmer than preferred. The bed felt oddly uncomfortable, akin to cardboard. Wi-Fi access was a hassle, inconsistent for my group. We faced a frustrating issue with no prompt follow-up from maintenance. I found it surprising that the kitchenette lacked basic utensils and dishes – not even a glass. If you're planning to use the kitchen, bring everything yourself. Despite these drawbacks, I enjoyed my time and even booked my next visit at a great rate.

My friends and I had an awesome stay! The main pool was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helped make our vacation smooth. Just a heads up, some areas are showing age, but overall, we had a great time!
We did find some areas around the pool a bit dirty, which was disappointing, but it didn't ruin our fun.
